Today, Property Care Guys did Reticulation Repairs in Manning, South of Perth.
Colin wanted a quote on rather than doing it by hand, but to automate the watering of lots of pots in a paved area and another to repair the weed filled lawn and level it properly as the company who installed the roll on grass did an average job. We can do this with top dressing with a lawn sand or similar soil. With the reticulation extension, there was plenty of pressure on the nearby station to tap into for his pots so this is very feasible.
He also needed a system check so I did this on the spot with him and went over various small sprinkler issues with him which wasn’t a lot (1 Hour) and he left for work. I replaced some Toro popups and spray heads, cleaned some others out, straightened a couple on weird angles. One verge pop-up sprinkler in the corner of the driveway was very low from grass thatching up and cars driving on it so I installed a concrete sprinkler surround there and compacted it in so it can bare the weight of cars if need be. Last I checked the reticulation controller box.. luckily as it was still set for 45 minutes per station from when the company installed the lawn 3 years ago! Imagine how much water and bore pump electricity was wasted in that time. Geez. I closed the gate upon leaving, free of charge. Working in Manning was a great experience.
We highly recommend our concrete surround installation service at least on the row of popups on your outer verge / nature strip sprinklers. Believe it or not, it will save you thousands of dollars over 5-10 years if you find yourself having to call repair guys to fix your broken roadside sprinklers! We put them in correctly and guarantee cars won’t be breaking anymore, providing there is the normal depth of pipe and space between the kerb and the sprinkler. If not we can do that too.
