Today the Property Care Guys did Bore Repair in Thornlie, South East of Perth
We replaced this water pump. Check it out..a long shot at best? It looked as though the entire bore was no good at all. It hadn’t been used in 30 years. You can’t see here but the entire bore was full of sand. With sticks and leaves on top. The pump wouldn’t make a sound let alone start the pump motor. It had parts missing even. Most companies would say this has had it. It needs a new bore. But we had a crack at repair first. Of course though, advising the customer it may not work even with all new pump, PVC, electrical parts and valves etc.
We completely redid everything – cleared out the sticks and debris, totally remade the mounting area and design, installed a new centrifugal motor and bore pump, new wiring, new PVC new check valve new everything and flicked the switch….. yay and phew. This system is now good as new thanks to PCG’s Electrician and Pump repair man around.
Be careful when getting bore repair quotes. We only use Australian made Bore Pumps and the most proven ones at that.
