Tony reported one station staying on and another not working
We went out and diagnosed the system as having an open wire break which was found in a nearby garden quite easily. The lost and sticking solenoid valve which waters the verge was traced and suspected to be under the driveway. We pulled up the paving and there it was, with a faulty solenoid so this was replaced.
The 20 year old old W.A made Valve was still working just fine. An automatic valve is typically found AND repaired for around $250. If the valve is not connected electrically it cannot be traced electro-magnetically and in this case the job is done at an hourly rate with manual digging and we will notify you if possible before proceeding, if the job is expected to take a long time.
