Yesterday Matt of the Property Care Guys did solenoid valve detecting in Woodlands, West of Perth
The customer had a rough idea where five were in a garden across the driveway but could not seem to find them. I saw there were only 3 stations linked to the controller. I hooked my locator up and traced the wiring to a couple of meters from where he said and discovered 3 valves in separate places, around a foot (30cm) depth with good accuracy. It would have taken several hours of digging and root cutting to manually find them all.
I uncovered the valve lids and job done. Jim can now inform a friend where the valves are in case something goes wrong like a leak while he is on holiday. Contact us for all reticulation repair work and solenoid valve locating!
