Reticulation in Warwick

Today the Property Care Guys did reticulation in Warwick, North of Perth

The customer badly needed advice and help with repairing his home irrigation. He said he had a bore which watered not only his own property, but three neighbours gardens too! (and they weren’t willing to pay for it) On inspection we saw this was the case and capped all three pipes off. There were also masses of pipes and wiring running all over the place. (it had been semi excavated) One system ran off the mains while another off the bore, both to back and front! We assumed either because they shared the bore with the neighbours there wasn’t enough pressure left for themselves they had installed mains retic, or the bore hadn’t been working for a long time.

I (Matt) and my workmate first did a pressure test. Good pressure. As for the rest we simplified and capped off the mains supply and got rid of all that useless messy piping, cut off all wires not needed. (20 maybe?) We then kept 2 wires for the rear and installed a new solenoid valve. This will supply water for the entire back yard as station #1. We then kept 2 wires for the front and installed a new solenoid valve. This will supply water for the entire front yard as station #2. It’s best to keep an irrigation grid as simple as possible. A bore usually has enough pressure and flow to feed a residential property with two stations.

These modifications were all done for under $450. The customer plans to put in his own sprinklers and new piping..for his own gardens, not the neighbours gardens.
