* Our Australian made solenoid valves have on/off taps which most don’t have, so you can turn them off even if they are on at the control. They also have a flow control tap which allows you to increase or decrease pressure to your sprinklers in the case they are either not covering enough, or spraying to hard and onto walls or paving (common with bore systems)

* We can supply and install In-Ground Battery operated Reticulation controllers where running new wiring isn’t possible (such as across driveways or concrete areas). These Hunter Node systems can run on a small 9 volt battery and don’t need replacing for up to two years.

We Guarantee all our work.

How to Save Water in Perth gardens

Over 40% of water we use is outside the home (our lawns and gardens mostly), so it’s important to save water by watering efficiently in the garden.

Water from your reticulation and sprinkler systems can be wasted in many ways including evaporation, wind drift, watering for too long and watering where it’s not needed.

Here are some tips to help you water efficiently:

  • Water to your watering roster. Check your watering days!
  • Water once per watering day, either before 9am or after 6pm
  • Try to water before 9am to allow plants to use water throughout the day
  • Reduce sprinkler times by 2 minutes per station.
  • Replace worn nozzles and broken seals
  • During winter, your reticulation system should be turned off
  • Regularly check your irrigation system is in good working order
  • Contact a professional to install, service or repair your sprinklers, Property Care Guys are here to help.
